The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis (BAMSL) and its Young Lawyers' Division honored Rebecca A. Nickelson, partner at HeplerBroom, with the John C. Shepherd Professionalism Award. This Award is given annually to the BAMSL young lawyer who best exemplifies professionalism within the St. Louis legal community. Judge Nannette Baker from the Missouri Court of Appeals - Eastern District presented this award to Rebecca at a ceremony and luncheon on April 22, 2009. Rebecca was joined by HeplerBroom partners Michael Becker, John McCullough, Anne Schmidt and Scott Stewart at the ceremony.
