Four Attorneys Join Hepler Broom Law Firm

For Immediate Release


Kate A. Aplington, Jennifer A. Heydemann, Kelly L. Snyder and Michael Antikainen have joined Hepler Broom, LLC law firm as associates.

Aplington received her Juris Doctorate in May, 2009 from University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law in Columbia, Missouri. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science in 2005 from University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Aplington is licensed to practice law in the state of Missouri and in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. She is a member of the Missouri Bar Association.

Heydemann received her Juris Doctorate in May, 2009 from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, Missouri. She graduated from Washington University on the Dean’s List. She was also a Scholar in Law Award recipient. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree Duke University in Durham, North Carolina in 2006, where she studied Sociology, Spanish, and Human Development. She is licensed to practice law in the state of Illinois.

Snyder earned, in May, 2009, her Juris Doctorate from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, Missouri. She was selected for the Order of Barristers (national honorary orgo; recognizes excellence in oral advocacy and brief writing skills). Snyder also has a note published, All Names Are Not Equal: Choice of Marital Surname and Equal Protection, 30 WASH U. J.L. & POL’Y 561 (2009). She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Notre Dame in 2006 where she studied Political Science and Gender Studies.

Antikainen graduated from Marquette University Law School in 2005. He received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Minnesota, Duluth in 2002, majoring in History. He is admitted to practice in Illinois, Minnesota, Wisconsin, the Eastern District of Wisconsin and the Northern District of Illinois.

All four attorneys work in general litigation. Snyder is in employed in the Edwardsville, Illinois office, Aplington in the St. Louis, Missouri office, and Heydemann and Antikainen in the Chicago, Illinois office.
