Hepler Broom has been involved in defending asbestos-related disease claims since cases began in Madison County in 1986. The firm has represented and tried cases for clients throughout the Midwest. Hepler Broom serves as National Counsel for several clients as well as local and regional for others. With nearly 1000 cases set for trial in a year, the firm has a team of over 26 lawyers and 34 paralegals that handle asbestos lawsuits. Some of the firm’s past clients include Raybestos-Manhattan, Celotex, W.R. Grace, Owens-Corning, GAF (state-wide) and Flintkote. Current clients number over 100. The firm represents such manufacturers as Ford, General Motors, Georgia-Pacific, Foseco and Ingersoll-Rand as well as premises defendants such as Marathon Oil, Ameren Utilities, Conagra/Swift and SBC.
